Love how he's leaned forward for speed

Or maybe that's the cold... maybe his body is trying to tell his brain something...

That bike has one of the ugliest side-profiles I think I have ever seen.

Shit, that's terrible. A guy making a decision for himself, and not being dictated to by a nanny state, risking his own skin and ride a bike without wearing full protective kit. Imagine the damage he'll do to himself, and to no bystanders whatsoever should he come off.

For the sake of humanity - think of the children.

One might even argue that he's posing less of a risk to bystanders by not having any gear; he's making himself squishier and less of a hard armoured object. So he poses less risk by hitting other people with his squishy bits, instead of armoured gear.

    Unless he has AIDS.

Here we go again..... The HIGH HORSE club!

GET A LIFE AND LEAVE PEOPLE TO DO THEIR OWN THING!

For those that want to enforce gear wear, that's government mentality. Trying to protect people from themselves.
Half the posts on this site are exactly bleating on about that but regarding other subjects.

So, think about it! Motorbikes are about freedom. If someone chooses to risk themselves, so be it!

I think you'll find that "high-horsing" doesn't come into it, rather our shared responsibility for funding the national health system.

I really couldn't give a flying fuck either way. On one hand it is his choice, free country and I wouldn't want anyone telling me what I have to wear when I ride. On the other hand if he does come a cropper it's another reason for ACC to up their charges.

Mind you I probably helped ACC up their charges with my accident. 3 days in ICU, numerous operations, 5 yearly lump sum payments. Damn I'm bad.

I don't have a problem with educating people about safety and the use of gear.

To have a weekly bitch session on the same topic gets a bit old however, specially considering the person in question, doesn't even know about it.

I quite often scoot down to the shops in my shorts and tee shirt.... But then I'm not riding like an idiot when attired like that. Remember that crashing is optional. You can increase your chances of arriving safely at your destination by using plain common sense. Unfortunately on this site too many people think that crashing is compulsory.
