I quite often scoot down to the shops in my shorts and tee shirt.... But then I'm not riding like an idiot when attired like that. Remember that crashing is optional. You can increase your chances of arriving safely at your destination by using plain common sense. Unfortunately on this site too many people think that crashing is compulsory.

They have a mantra - ''it's not a matter of if you crash,but when'' They say this over and over,reinforcing it in their minds...and hey presto,they act it out in real life!

I think you'll find that "high-horsing" doesn't come into it, rather our shared responsibility for funding the national health system.

Hmmm...perhaps pedestrians should wear safety gear so that the Health System doesn't collapse under the weight of j-walking injury costs..
