I mean why the hell do they need all that extra shit on them what a wast of money at least the old V8 'SS' were rather more plain looking.

So the skirt kitted 'S' is a supercharged v6 then?
shit they only pay about $28k for them. i don't know of any supercharged ones about - even the bosses in welly only get to drive acclaims and injected 3.8's. the XR6's are the performance cars of the fleet really, and although the S commodores probably handle better, they haven't got the 80-140 speed that the XR has.

Ohhh yeh..... the XR6 Turbo is my choice kicks the ass of both the Holden and Ford V8's.
And the 3.8 V6 has had a super charged model avaiable for a few years now they are a bloody good motor for the jet boat.
    cheers DD

All the HP "S" Commodores are just the standard 3.8L Ecotec, they are have the S commodores with all the extra's because they actually aren't the police's/NZ government's they are lease cars that will be given back after a few 10's of thousands of km's also they have a standard sports suspension package.

As for the bosses....... well thats another story..... The commisioner drives a Black "S" supercharged commie, the reason for not many supercharged ones around is because he pretty much doesnt want the "lower ranking" people to have a better car or equal car to him. As for the BA falcons there are only a few and those will only ever be used for HP...

Now that would be a mean bike, more logical than an R1 because you can ride it all day, all week, and not need your back to be put back into place..... Also insanely quick........

The perfect commuter, gaps would appear between lanes and when the traffic clears . . . . . . OK, it probably will never happen in my lifetime (traffic clearing) but if it did. Actually I just got back from Wellington, left AK at 4:15AM ish on Easter Fri morning and the traffic wasn't too bad.

You know what would be the meanest thing a cop could do on one of those?

    Well, here's a scenario:

"Bad guy" doing a runner from some slow as HP cars goes past a bike cop doing a 200kmph Standup wheelie on a..... Hyabusha, right? He doesn't see the cop cause Mr Plod is in a cafe eating his donuts. But our cop is no ordinary piggy. This homeboy here has one mean machine with more than 180 ponies on the tap! He sees the runner, sucks up his belly, does up his fly, belt then helmet/gloves and jumps on the bike.

Oinkie on the ZX12 takes of like lightening after the busha and leaves a big fat cloud of pure white smoke as he burns rubber to get up to speed... FAST! After catching up to him, the cop pulls up beside him doing a.... get this, a one handed stand up wheelie to get up to the same eye level!!

Both guys are now doing standup wheelies side by side at about 250kmph screaming down the road!! WOMMMPH, WOMMPH!! AND then, the cop with the right hand on the throttle points his left hand downwards, suggesting the runner to put his wheel down and pull the f*ck over!!!

Mean or what eh? lol, the thought came to my mind like a movie scene.

Note: The image created of the policeman in this scenario may not be accurate. Descriptions were made for entertainment purposes only.
