Probably might have to do with the fact that I have quite an effective fairing and makes the helmet quieter....just a theory.

Fair enough. The helmet was quieter than my CS-10, but since wearing plugs everything is going to be noisy.

Currently wearing a Shoei Raid 2 Obelisk, same graphics as pic. I alternate between tinted and clear visor depending on day/night riding and it takes a mere 2-3 seconds to change. Overall the best helmet i've ever owned, light as, good ventilation, and not noisy!

I've go a HJC CS-12 with tinted visor, it's ok but at about 160 - 170 it moves back on my head and gets pushed against my face, does anyone else get this? cause i'd be keen to get one that doesn't cause it's a pain in the ass.

A pickelhaube? A damned fine choice, you'll cut a mean dash in that.
Not much protection mind, they're normally made of leather or some times even papier mache type stuff.

Got a 2003 Nolan [insert quirky model part here]

Grey base, and blue ribbons and grey tribal prints. What the heck was I thinking...

Temple vents, bald spot vent. Probably preferred the helmet because of the clasp used, essentially a rachet type with a plastic (5cm) tab that inserts and clicks up.

Probably on the heavy side, but good noise reduction. Could ride a ring-a-bloody-dinga for three hours and still hear.

Next : prob something in bright yellow, depends on next bike. I'm a fashion slave.

    HJC CL-14 in smoke.

Only complaint is it fogs like a bitch at the slightest thought of cold weather.

I've got the HJC HQ-1 aka Carbon Fibre helmet. Upside is that it's very light. It is lighter than my Shoei x-11 even though they're ment to weigh the same. Downside is that sometimes dust can get inside the helmet. Also the visor gets a bit difficult to pull up and down.

An Arai NR5 or old faithful HJC AC10 Aaron Yates Replica. Both bug spattered and scuffed!
The Arai is the first one that has fitted comfortably, since my first Arai in 1972! Its a bit noisy though.

Mine is currently the FM Endor with the Magic Roundabout characters on.

I've had this about 3 years, back when I drag raced cars - before I managed to get into bikes. Not too bad but you do get a few problems with the mechanism for swapping visors, the plastic tends to snap easily on the mounts.
That is a cool helmet... I remember watching Magic Roundabout late at night when I was on holiday with my friends... I love the rabit that sounds high...
    I want that show!

How much did you pay for that and where'd you get it from?
