Riverhead ride this sunday for the off-road boys!

Hey fellow off-road riders.

Riverhead forest this sunday. shall be a great ride. pretty dusty though because that place hasn't seen much rain recently according to Peter Birch who is part of the Waitemata Club running the event. Shall be a great event in the dry a great hoon, don't even bother going in the wet. I shall be their on my CRF.

Cost of ride?

I'll probably be there now. last chance of a ride for a a month or so.

about 25 bucks a head. Im not going now, I have other commints, so i'm 99.99% sure im not going. But have fun and I would like to now how it goes.

The ride's $35 non wmcc member adults & $30 for member adults.
The loop will be around 30k, with new trails as well as old ones. It's dry as in there, so make sure you bring drinks & goggles. Slicks won't be a problem (for once), dust is going to be the killer. If you really look hard, you might find a bog to play in, but it really is dry.

As for not going if it's wet, nah, just take lots of energy & good tyres.

That ride was awesome! I found some good old muddy bogs and roosted as much mud as I could everywhere.

DAM!!!! What a ride! There was a near vertical downhill!! We had beginner with us and he looked at it and sed F*#k this and did da bypass dam gd hope its in da upcoming enduro
