    Smile What a beautiful day

Sitting here at work, watching the clock, and the great weather outside

I think I'm going to leave a little early today, and head up the taka's, around 3pm ish. Anyone else going up today?

I have this insatiable urge to ride lately, even after the great ride on Sunday...

Just been out for my lunchtime walk and it is nice. No time for biking for me though.

    Enjoy.
    Cheers

    Tell me about it!

What's worse is that I had yesterday off work sick. And I was! I rolled over & went back to sleep after calling work yesterday morning, without even looking out the window. Was most put out to see the warm sunshine when I got up at lunchtime & was not well enough to go out on the bike and enjoy, like I'm certain my boss thought I was!

And more of the same today!

And most likely all week too!

It sure is, took the bike in for a service today and spent 2 hours wandering around in all my gear waiting. Wasn't sure i was going to last the walk back to the bike shop. Though the ride back to papakura made up for it.

Yeah, would love to go for a ride right now. But bike isn't really in the best state for a long ride. Not sure if the duct tape would hold well enough.

    Yep,
You have to pay the bills. And when the weekend is crap and Monday shines, it's just there to taunt us.
The modern world and city life is giving payback for the way we have treated the planet.
It will always rain on weekends in the big cities, scientific proof even.

Finish work at 4.00pm today, get home and take Tim to the local school again.

I'm doing some work with him with cones to try and get his riding skills up.

Soon we'll try little jumps, stoppies, etc
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
