    stolen guzzi

Received this email from a friend can anyone help out?

    Good morning

I have sent this to you and as many people who are into bikes, in the hope of some assistance to retrieve my stolen bike.

My Moto Guzzi was stolen on Friday from the centre of Auckland city.

The bike was not insured and I relied on it to get to work every day.

Can you please ask your colleagues to keep an eye out for the bike or anyone asking for parts for it.

    Attached are the details.

If you see or hear of anything I would appreciate a phone call or email.

    Thanks

    Michael O' Sullivan

If its a 99 then it will be a very rear bike, caled a sport corsa... if not then it will be a std sport, so do you have a pic that can be posted up, if not I can post a similer pic of the bike, but need to know which year it was built.

As sad as it is when your bike goes walkies, I'm sure as speedmedic has said, that there is a lesson to be learnt re: insurance. Looks like a nice boat in the background, so there will be a car in the family too, seems odd that the bike has no insurance.

Very sad, but why would you have a Guzzi and not insure it ???
I would never ride a bike without full comprehensive.

No such thing man....... the 1100 Sport started life in 95 and in 97 had a major up grade like FI being fitted, in 99 the last Sport was released as a limited edition 200 only being made called the Sport Corsa.
From 99 on the V11 was the new 2v pushrod 1100, the 1st of them being called the v11 Sport.

The daytona arived in 92 with a 1000cc DOHC 4V motor it was a single seater which lasted till 97 when it was up graded like the Sport, and was fitted out with the same body work and an extra 10Hp.
I think this is the bike you are thinking of

    pic 1) Daytona 1992
    pic 2) Daytona RS 1997
    pic 3) Sport 1995
    pic 4) Sport inj 1997
    pic 5) Sport Corsa 1999

    hey you brought it up
