    Up in the Moutere Forest

Just a couple of pics from my ride yesterday with my brother, up in the Moutere forest, which is about 15 mins from my back door. We had just scooted down a very rough cross country track, that was pine needles, and very loose soil, and had to jump two good size trees felled across the track, it was so much fun we turned round, and went back up the way we came. Stayed up there for 5 hours or so, was a blast. I would have had more pics, but the batteries went flat.

The boring pic of the straight road with pines either side is when we stopped to pick up a souvenir.... a YZ rear guard, to add to the collection of bike bits we have found, there were big bin marks in the soil next to the guard, looks like he went down hard, but we could not figure out how, coz it was straight, and smooth in that part of the road.

Looks like fun Kro. I spent many hours hooning around the forest that borders my parents farm (part of the old Golden Downs state forest)- ahhh, takes me back....

It is a great place to ride. I always come home from a ride feeling like I have accomplished something, especially when I get dragged up these thin, steep little goat tracks by my brother, only to discover there are actually goats or pigs on them.
Speaking of farmyard animals, we employed a new person at work last week, her name is Flossy, see pic below.
