    Screaming Eagle VRod Destroyer

We've just got the first of these factory drag bikes in the showroom.
1300 big bore engine, drag pipes, solid rear end with wheelie bars, air shifter, drag slicks.
Reputed to do low 9's out of the box.
    $54,000 to you, Sir.
I want to run this baby in on my daily commute.

get a stock zx-14 and it'll do 9.3ish 1/4's, strap it and it'll go faster.
Strap a ZX10 and it'll do low 9's too for a lot less money.

I read the Two Wheels article about it and I'd love to see it in action.

This may be a silly question, but is it street-legal (the VRod that is)?
Just that it still has the switch gear on the bars.

That would make for a nice town commuter... racing from traffic light to traffic light hahahaha

    It's as street legal as I'm law-abiding.
Check the switch gear - shift, data aquisition etc.

BTW when a UK test reports sub 10 sec quarters on a stock ZX14 I'll believe it.
I've seen too many US claims of fantastic times that you can't reproduce.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
