Alrighty roo then, cruisy ride time again.
Meet at the elephant pond as usual 6:30pm.
Destination to be decided on the night.
See you there.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy
I heard that the elephant ate all the ducks... :spudwhat:Originally Posted by Uncle B

How about we do some time trials this week?
Rimutaka Bridge to Bridge return!
I'm going to see if I can beat 9.5 minutes. I hear the bridge to bridge record is 9 minutes. I'll be going for it at about 6pm. Due to light going down early.
Should get to 260kph on the home straight.
Anyone else keen to join me, just PM me and see you there!

Ill join in, dont think ill come near the 9min mark but hey......let's make it more fun:
how about some official rules:
- No leathers - only tshirts, shorts and jandals in celebration of the end of
Summer.
- Your bike CANNOT be reg and WOF
- bonus points for not having a license or being a L plate rider
- Champagne coloured Nissan Maxima's are there as a "bonus round" the most
impressive overtaking manouver gets bonus points also, dont be fooled by
the blue and red flashing lights.......its not really a cop thats just for
special effects.
- Instead of finishing at the bridge how about we extend the lap to include 4
Upper Hutt schools as "checkpoints" and maybe aim to finish about 3pm????
So hows that, maybe meet at Caltex Rimutaka at 230pm? or anyone else keen to get blind drunk before hand????

Damn, How'd you find out so fast? I only got home two hours ago!Originally Posted by COP_B8
Would have got home earlier, spent ages trying to find my missing jandal. Turned out I'd left it in my helmet clipped to the passenger seat.
Ive been out practising dodging kids on pedestrian crossings for the big time trials.......
Just a warning, dont try getting your knee down when wearing shorts, the blood is bloody hard to get out.
Sweet, just trying to shuffle a few things round to get out with ya all. Got stickier tyres now that need running in! And I now have rear brakes woo hoo.............. Just kidding I had them before but now they're better.

I sadly, am not going to make it this week.I have prior arrangements.
So have a good ride all and I'll see you next week![]()
Me neither. Very sad. Have an awesome night and think of me when you're at whatever pub you're at. If you end up in Newlands or J'ville I'll dash down for a quick drink (with my Mum).
Don't ride to work - work to ride
Don't forget wheelies, the maxima brigade give bonus points for wheelies. If you can hold it up all the way past the guy in the flouro vest with the blue hat on at the start line, you're definitely in for a quick elapsed time. But don't forget you need to slow down for the marked camera cars on the way so that they get a fighting chance of keeping up for a decent shot.Originally Posted by Dafe

Lucky for some. It's my night to babysit the dog that's NOT going to training. Oh, and the kid too. And just after I send the bike in to get fixed too...
