Its going great! I've owned it for about a week now. It's alot different compared with my FZR, especially the weight. Its going to take a bit of getting used to however, my experience so far it that its way more comfortable and alot more stable when cornering. I have to give it the respect it deserves because i'm not used to the power so i'm just taking it easy. When I was riding away from the previous owners house on the night I bought it, this grin began to evolve on my face that hasn't disappeared yet! I'll bring it on Wednesday if I can. See you then.

Swanny, but I think he was joking - anyone keen to ride a 250 from Auck to Wgtn and back in one day is either joking or mad.

lol! I think that might have been because of a ride a few weeks ago where passers-by were admiring the Hyosung despite there being at least 2 gixxer thous... Got him all excited that did!
But yeah, thats a bit of a mission just to see an elephant!

Are you sure the passers by weren't checking out the chick riding the hyosung and ignoring the burly lads riding the gixxers?

So this happens every Wednesday? Pardon the ignorance... new here... sounds outstanding... was going to pick up a bike tomorrow or Thursday, but I might go pick it up then! *fingers crossed* Look out for a silver 250 bandit...

Hang on, is it ok for a relative newbie to come along? It'll be my 3rd time on the bike tomorrow. 1st - test riding, 2nd - riding it home from Waikanae tonight, 3rd - tomorrow with you guys. What kinda pace you going at?

The pace will be pretty electric, as in electric scooters. It's usually pretty slow paced. But I assume you'll need to at least be able to hack the speed limit (100k).

Is there a usual pub you lot end up at after the ride? I dont finish work till 9 on Wednesdays, so far too late for the ride, but could meet up at the pub after work if you're all still there...

soory just HAD TO post again, this is goona be sooo great, we'll have to park beside each other etc etc (p.s. bet mines louder )

if you can ride you'll be fine, if not i would reccommend getting some experience first then comming out riding (last thing I want is to see a wrecked bandit)
