Finished work at about the same time you guys all disbanded, will have to try again next week (stay out longer ya pansies :P).

Were you all at the quiet lady? was standing outside work having a ciggie (mobil), and saw a large group of bikes come from there...

sigh... not a too bad a ride, coulda been better.

chances are ive a ticket for speeding down karori and im thanking my lucky stars that the bike cop on the motorway pulled that car over and not us...

Verdict on the bandit is well um might have to return it, running like shit, left fork leaking, rear brake sensor fucked oh and i burnt my hand on the exhaust... but on the bright side the side cover doesn't seem to be leaking anymore.

edit: oh yea it woulda been fairly quick fatjim, just a few o-rings and seals and put the cover (done on monday) back on and fill it up with oil

Awesome turnout tonight guys. I think the count reached 24 Bikes in total.
A good cruisy paced ride and a decent social gathering once again at the Quiet Lady in Karori.

Sorry guys - would've popped in for a quick drink if it had been earlier (except I'd just rushed back from the airport) but I've got Youth Group on Wednesdays 7.30-10 (just up the road). Sounds like all went well though. I still haven't been to that pub since it got the makeover.

24 bikes!!! That's real good! But does this mean TRTNR has died? I won't be able to go on the rides again. :-(

Considering last week had all of 6 or 7 bikes.

The weather is the winner on the night.
I doubt TRTNR will die out. if you get a fine thursday, I'm sure the Welly hardcore will show.

The wednesday night ride seems to be attracting alot of cruisy paced riders, word must be getting out as we had 3 first timers tonight.
I think the attitude is good, people aren't expecting a race come wednesday nights and everybody is enjoying that.
For those in need of some serious fun, thursday nights all good!

BTW....... Nice Paint Job Officer Mikey!!!

They've turned it into more of a family-oriented restuarant/bar setup... its quite nice, but I liked it as the dirty old local (especially since it had a pool table back in the day - i mean whats a pub without a pool table?!!!!1111oneone)

I'll second that! What a good night eh, except Wasp and I probably have fat speed camera tickets waiting for us! Good to meet some of you for the first time and seeing others again. Work is going to dictate how many of these I can go to.

The VTZ of doom is handling like a real sports bike finally so riding was a winner on the night.

Yeah, what a great night! Thanks all who were there! Pace was great, sorry 'bout holding up the line abit (ok, maybe more than abit) in the twisty bits... Am much more comfortable and confident with the bike, now that I have just over 2 hrs riding time on anything larger than 110cc! Haha!

Will get more riding in and see you next Wednesday! Actually, timing's great 'coz the Mrs has a bible study type meeting then too! Muahahaha!!
