    wtb: 250

    Ok, new plan.

    Not having much luck finding a sports 250, so we're going to widen the scope.

    I am searching for a learners bike on behalf of a friend. Bear in mind this is a female friend and she has considered just getting a GN. Please, dont let that happen, help me save her from the dark cluthes of GNity.

    Has anyone got a 250, or know of one in the Welly/Palmy area.

    Please, don't let another one fall prey to the GN

    P.S. Budget is $2300

    tell her to get an rg150 or an fxr150 either are great learner bikes and ALOT more sporty than a gn250 and faster!

    Yeah, we're keeping an eye out for an FXR. She'd consider that, but she's dead against 2 strokes, so an RG is out. Don't ask me why.

    nice and cheap loads of ks tho.Hmm i would have recommended a rg150e or something as they are so fun but if she is dead against 2 strokes and 2.3g budget.Either fxr150,maybe a sr250 or a gpx250 you can pick older versions of these up dirt cheap.
    Sete you will be missed, champion at heart.

    Yamaha FZR 250cc bike for sale

    [quote=phoenixgtr]

    Hey man - is your friend still looking for a good quality bike? I have my little Yamaha for sale - still.
    Yeah I know its in Auckland, but I'll hold it for you if you are interested in coming up sometime to see it.

    Also I'd need at least $2500 for it because it is a special little bike and almost unmarked and in really good condition.
    Done only 63,000 kms and all rego'd and warranted etc. Full maintenance history, and Pirellis fitted.

    If you are still interested, please PM me back.

    Hope your search ends soon, and good luck.

    Anyone else interested, you're welcome to PM me. It's an ideal bike for Restricted or riders under 5'5".
