    Interesting. I wonder how competitive it will be. They must be serious about making decent sports bikes then. Wonder if it will help them from a sales point of view?

    Tripples and Twins are in the same weight class, just like 4 and 5 cylinder bikes carry the same weight. So as long as they get a decent amount of power out of the engine it should be good.

    Take a close look at the front forks. Is that a normal bmw design?

    Good on them if they do step up to the challenge of MotoGP.

    Im sure they have a healthy budget with lots of resources to call on. Good luck to them. Their rider will be very comfortable anyway!! Has it got heated grips?

    BMW have a racing history. Won the Senior TT. Ever heard of Schorsch Meier and the Rennsport supercharged BMWs. If they go for it I imagine they will do so with typical Teutonic efficieny. Like Mercedes in car racing.
