1988 Suzuki GSXR 250

Decent condition GSXR250. I've owned this bike for about a year and it has served me well in that time. Red in colour with 80,000km on the clock. Not the best cosmetically (couple of rips in the seat, some cracks in the fairing around one of the front indicators). In the time I have owned it, it has only been dropped once, which only caused minor damage (the person that dropped it was trying very hard to pull it back up before it hit the ground which minimised the impact). The only thing that gives the drop away is the cracks around that front indicator.

It's recently had the engine from the barrels to the gearbox replaced as 2nd gear had worn out completley. New engine is lower k's, however I dont know the exact amount (the work was completed by motomart). Had new chain & sprockets about 9 months ago.

New wof as of last month, rego for another couple of months.

Bike is located in Karori, wellington. Selling due to upgrading

Nah thats another one, ill be putting mine up on trademe once I have my new bike.

Also had fork seals reaplaced and front master cylinder re-kitted when it was getting the engine work at motomart. I'm going to try to get some pics of it. When it's clean, it looks quite good, the only major cosmetic thing is the rips in the seats. The cracks that i've mentioned are minor, and there is just the odd scratches etc around the bike.

These bikes are awesome fun to learn on!

Price IS negotiable.

Its prolly the most reliable vehicle i've owned bar the problem with 2nd gear blowing. But i've already sold it sorry!

awsome bike u had, i brought 1 off these about 10 years ago, l brought it 4 $2500.[the whole bottom fairing was missing hence da cheap price]then some old prick knocked me off it & the insurance payed me out $4000. a year after ibrought it. laughed all the way to the bank LOL. I hope u got a good price 4 your one.
