Who gives a stuff if cops are watching. But some of these creepy pricks have a STRANGE way of thinking and can be nasty fuckers who take delight in ruining your day. That's even if you're a law-abiding rider. Best to stay well clear of 'em.

Close - I think it's more you don't give them ANY chance and they take your money.

Ever been pulled over and given a warning?
THAT my friend, is being given a chance. That's an example of a cop who is probably perfectly within their rights to give you a ticket or other punishment, but they didn't... WHY.

They gave YOU a 2nd chance.

But DON'T give that cop a chance... be defensive, tell them what you think of being pulled over, use some select descriptive terms... think you'll still get that chance?

We're all in this together. For the record - I'm not a cop, I don't enjoy getting tickets... but I expect a cop to do their job no matter who the wrong doer is - even me.

Accepting the consequences of your actions is part of growing up.

As for giving cops a 2nd chance, consider the fact we're all actually after the same thing. Safe and efficient transport. They add to the picture by enforcing the rules of the land. We add to the picture by obeying they rules of that land, and I would suggest going an extra step and HELPING the cops.

Seen an idiot on the roads? *555 is your friend. If the cops are available there's a good chance they'll help.

If they're not available, blame those in power for not funding them enough - we're short on cop numbers. Blame LTNZ for contracting not enough, or too many traffic enforcement hours... blame those that actually have the ability to change something - but don't.

Don't you mean a lot of pissed off TRTNRiders - I wasn't there but have heard a lot of feedback.

    To the GR 'imposter':

Taunting the Police is cool on DVD when GR does it - but as I've said before - he rides alone and therefore doesn't take anyone else down with his antics.

And the attempts on here to hide your identity are lame at most - anyone sifting through would see the most obvious clue - maybe you don't give a flying fuck cock smoker but I don't want to ride with you. Not that I ever did, you were always so far behind. Mmmmpphhh. Didn't see you at the hillclimb showing us how it's done ?

Right on Deano. All this attention at the thursday night rides might be interesting, but its basically fucked it for the group as a whole.

Mornin' Officer, I hope you don't take all these ramblings seriously, it's just the ravings of a very small minority. (Boomer and Finn, PM me for their ID details) The rest of us are all law-abiding citizens who love their Mums and support the Police in every thing they do.
If any of us do inadvertantly break the law a little, it's surely the first time ever and we all deserve warnings.
    Have a nice day.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.
