Getting the seat off a (2005) GN250

tip for the sidecovers after i nearly got hit by a friends one that flicked off his bike on the highway...take them off and drill two small holes on either side. get a zip tie and thread through the holes and around the frame. pull tight and cut off excess. stops them getting stolen as well!

Although, full respect for sticking them on, instead of assing them off at GN highway speeds (no pun intended!!)

back in the people did steal them and i would say they still do because thier ones fall off so they just take somebody else's...nobodys getting thier mits on my custom painted ones.....they will be well attached

thats right. they are bolted towards the rear of the seat with that little strap thingy.

Ooo, and

its not on the road, read monsterRACEbikeish... it lives in the garage, or on a trailer. I think GNs are great, I am just glad I was never subjected to one!!
