    Smile Good to see

Was driving to Wellington today behind another biker which was fine, then he shot to the left lane and i woundered what he was up to ..... it so happens he was stopping as another motorcyclist was on the side of the motorway looking at his bike. I dont know if he knew him or just stopped to see if all was ok ...but if it was to see if he needed a hand it was good to see and if I was broke down i hope some biker may stop and give me a lift...:-)

That's one of the good parts of being part of a biking community - the community spirit. I don't know shit about bikes but I still stop to see if I can help.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I'm no mechanic, but I'll stop if I can. You might be able to give them a lift, lend them your phone, help them move the bike to a safer position, or just pass a message on if you see their mates waiting for them further down the road. If nothing else, you will at least have given them a moral boost . . .

id stop.....though i have gone by a couple of bikes stopped...both were in town and one was literally outside a petrol station.

saw a couple on a bike stopped on the desert road, pulled over and they waved so kept on going. the guy was walking back from behind a hilly bit so figured he needed to piss, lol.

all i could really offer would be moral support, a cell phone and some cheap ass tools, but better than nothing.
