Rear reflector on bike left me for someone else.

    Hello,

For some reason the rear reflector on my bike has fallen off and disappeared. This has nothing to do with my successful jump of some trained camels and a small penguin. What I want to know, is am I legally supposed to have a red reflector on the back of my bike? There is of course, still my red brake light at the back. I suspect I will have to jump more camels and larger penguins to lose this.

If I don't need a rear reflector by law (and to pass warrants, etc...), then I may just bolt my L plate to where the reflector used to be. Then when I get my restricted, I will remove the plate and then get a replacement reflector.

    Knowledgeable ideas?

you do have 2 hav a reflector, most bikes have one built into the taillight, but if yours dosnt... you will need to jump a hippo and 3 midgets on the way to a shop 2 buy one
There is no dark side of the moon, really, as a matter of fact. Its all dark...

The cops "may" not bother - that is, it's highly unlikely you would be pulled over because of it, but yes you do have to have one and once pulled over for something else you may well end up with a ticket for that too - not sure. Anyway, you will fail your WOF without one.

cops have better things to do than write you a ticket for not having a reflector.

Vehicles have to have reflectors in the right spots to get a COF when they first are registered (and depending on who you know..). After that, they just have to get WoFs. It'll be fine, forget about it. Mine hasn't had a reflector anywhere, and never had problems. Just make sure your lights are always on, and don't park in the middle of the road

My zxr250a didn't have one when I bought it. To wof it, I had to buy a small properly legal reflector and glue it below the numberplate. I bought it from a bike shop for a few dollars.

go to the rice store (you know, blingy store with lights and stuff for cages, not repco.. the other one) and buy some small red reflector stickers. Cut them to size or leave them how they are and stick them on where you like.

If all the above suggestion don't work L.L. Cool M, PM me with your postal details and I'll send you some red reflective sheet you can cut to size and place on the bike.

Let me guess where you got that from?

I think Cliff is still looking for it.

Oh, and I have those photos of the GSXR on the camera. I will get them to you soon.

Lol. Fell off the back of a truck, in the gorge on the way to Moko Moko-Honest. It's amazing what you find buried in the corner of the "shed". I hear it makes good shadow boards.

    Cheers for that.
