Just north of Masterton, quaint place, 4/5 shops maybe a few more but i have never noticed, one thing i did notice, there is a huge kiwi in the township. Like Paeroa has a bottle, Ohakuni has a carrot blah blah, and im sure that kiwi used to be in Palmerston North?

I checked out a GL400 for Waylander a month or two back. I was pleasantly surprised as to how well they go. Didn't like the pots sticking out the way they do tho.....kept bumping my shins on them, otherwise seem like good bikes.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Used to have one myself. A 1985 model. They are pretty much exactly the same as the well known CX500 minus 100cc. I found it quite heavy but well balanced once you're on the move.

You'd want to know how many Km's/Miles it's done. If the cam chain has run out of adjustment I've heard it's a bit of a mission to replace i.e. taking motor aprt, etc.

EDIT: Questions asked - see auction.

lol.... Dan the question that you asked re the cam chain, the seller has no idea hehe, it has a cam chain and it should be just fine, I've had 100,000 out of a 500 and it was still sweet as.

FWIW the cam chain runs from the crank to the cam in the belly of the beast were push rods take over and run up to the rockers.

okay, stopper dan looked at the gl for me and its kinda rough but im going to see if i can buy it. itll take some tlc but for four or five hundred thats expected, its rideable which is all that counts but needs a front tyre, brake hose, battery and fork seals and the seats ripped to buggery. i like

FYI: Mike a mechanic at Downman Honda in Wanganui has lots of parts for these bikes. Last I was there my old GL400 was stripped clean and sitting out the back doing nothing. Had wheels, tyres, headlamp (new), frame n' forks etc - just no engine.

Best time I did was 20min with a mate and the motor was on the bench. One of mine (4) used to do water pump seals in ever year or two.

PS: DL have you seen this later model the Euro http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...n-49753527.htm
