What usually matters most to me when buying from a bike shop is that they are willing to negotiate, and prepared to give me a reasonable price for my trade-in!

    Arrow Well

Ive only bought one bike from a shop and that was new. The rest I have purchased privately and some using trade me ads. The age, condition and price have to be important factors. However actually checking the bike out in person is just as important. Ive seen some shockers advertised and on the web they look pretty good, not so when checking them out in person. But in saying that I have never brought a lemon and the few I did go and see, the owners was pretty understanding when I declined to purchase.:slap:
