Around $78, or thereabouts... that's for a moped...

Better watch it, many scooters are 50cc and therefore cost just as much as a typical bike. It must be under 50cc & under 2kw output to qualify for the much cheaper rate.

How much is registration for a non-moped?

Is it gradual depending on engine volume or below 50cc vs. above 50cc?
In other words would registration of Suzuki TR110 cost the same as bigger bikes?

Yes. Our C50 was originally classed as a moped till I was idiotic enough to have a bike shop do it's WOF. Testing stations were fine with this but the shop wasn't going to warrent it unless we changed it's class, the tards. Needless to say that outfit is now defunct.

It's either above or below 50cc, and if below it also has to output no more than 2kw. Most of those scooters would be restricted so they might actually put out 5kw or so when that's removed.

Yes, the TR110 will cost just as much as bikes with bigger engines like 250, 400, 600, 750, 1000, etc.

I have to register my "Moped" and I have the bit of papar which says
    Licence fee $14.50
    ACC $38.86
    Admin $6.72
    GST $7.51
    Total $67.55

Why do I have to pay ACC when I paid it for the other bike? I can't ride both at the same time?
