    Look what I've got

How much should I expect out of the bike ?
How much power are those other 600's making ?
Should my Ignition table show all zeros?
Will slide stops and velocity stacks help? much?

    P.S. I am mechanicly handicaped
    Thanks for your input[/QUOTE]

I have a Yamaha Race ECU and loom that allows you to adjust the ign curve a lot, and it really helps the Yamaha. This is new, I actually have a lot of spares for one of these bikes, Swingarm, subframe, race fairings, spare wheels with discs.

The 600 I raced and won races on last year only had 103.5 HP at real wheel on GP Trading dyno, I forget what the tourque was.

Slide stops will def help that model

Is there any streetstock legal ways of getting a bit more power out of my RG (other than replacing the piston and ring it so desperately needs but I can't afford)

you were at puke with the bike in all red correct? I think that the guy from henderson motorcycles was on a 99-02 model and was one or two places in front of you. I'd say go with frosty's advice and 'learn' your bike for the meantime.

One place to check is ww.r6-forums.com, also if you have the pocket then send these guys and email http://www.yamaha-racingparts.com/r6/ its the yamaha factory team, and for a price tag they will sell you anything that they use on their bikes.

    YOU need more power....
    I'm riding a '85' single pot Honda CBX250.
With a head wind, full throttle I can get up to 50 going up the gorge. Even the pushies are overtaking me
More power... I need more power...
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Find that hard to believe for a 600SP. Have you seen the Dyno graph for the bike or was it a slow Thou sneaking in. I'm under the impression that the powerfullest NZ 6hundy's only push out 114 max. Love to have 20+ extra hp in my 600.
    Always plenty of rumours around.

Sorry, I've not raced at puke yet. I don't like the look of those fences much!

But I do plan to get up there. I was hoping for the enduro but its been canned for the moment.

I would have replaced the rest of the exhaust system as well, You have the rest of the good bits but it still can't breath.
