On the ZXR, the only bit that really sticks out is the stator cover and thats not really a biggie.

I can't really say what might be damaged cause I haven't really looked at the BMer engine up close and studied its internals. I guess I would expect the rocker cover to get damaged. I am not sure how costly that is to repair. If BMW bikes are anything like the cars, I'd say F-ing expensive.

Trust me mate, it will be fucking expensive, especially considering a BMW bike has similar cost to Ducati ........

I'll be at puke on the 23rd (just to watch) so you can inspect it then Old beemers arent too bad - then again I get contacts in germany etc etc, so have ways of not buying new off factory, the new beemers will be bloody expensive.....Then again, all bikes are expensive to repair, I would compare new rocker cover to new side fairing, and say beemer is cheaper, but that might be biased.....

If I were you, I'd ask for some pics of the left hand side, seems strange to me, that there are two right hand shots.
Also, I knew a guy that had an accross, he had all sorts of problems, when it ate all of it's exhaust valves at once.
Took months to get the bits ex Japan.
GSXR is better, and more different than you'd think.
