The grass aint any greener on my side of the fence either.John.
shit mate, i've hade it home from both my manfield track days, and that was 600km each time.
perhaps you should just take it down a few notches in the future? I generally start in the medium group to get used to the track, and then have fang at the end of the day.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
You know I you'd have a boss who owned the business I worked for and he would tell me constantly that his life was 'hard'. When it bought his yatch it was 'hard' work that paid for it... When he bought his 15 acre weekend getaway, it was 'hard' work that paid for it. He told me so often how hard his life was and that money was everything. No it's not but life is a whole lot less h'hard' to bear when someone isn't rubbing your face in it! (AND I don't have a bike to ride off my troubles on)

At least you have the balls to go fast enough to crash regularly, that's worthy of some respect. Here are some thoughts on how to avoid more pain:
Buy a bike that handles better. I don't know anything about how you are crashing, but you will find that bikes have moved on a lot in the last 14 years.
Get some good advice on things like tyres, tyre pressures, suspension set up.
Get someone who doesn't crash and is faster than you to show you the way around the track. Copy his lines, braking points, corner speeds etc. Always easier to follow than to lead.
Get a suzuki.
