    Hey
How much do you pay for insurance on a 250cc.

I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.

Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.

Depends what sort of insurance you want to get, and the value of your bike
    AFAIK:
    $70ish for third party only
$150-200 for third party fire & theft (depending on bike value)
$300-700??? for full depending on age, experience, bike etc

I have never had full insurance so i am not too sure on that one

my 1989 zxr250 was insured for value of $3500 with State andfull cover. Excess was $500 when i was 22 and premium was $390 from memory. I had made one previous claim writing off my GPX 250 (my fault but no one else involved) in 2000 for a settled claim of $2000.

currently shelling out a small fortune ($890/year) for the GSXR to be fully covered but it could be worse (my old flat mate was paying $200 a month to insure his twin turbo GTO- he's just finishing a full engine rework (hunting for 500bhp) with big boom sounds so it'll only cost him more than that when he's done)

    Cool

Ring around, try a broker first as they should get the best deal. If possible try David Golightly - broker who specialises in bike through Vero.

Also if possible get full cover - less hassles as you then don't have to deal with other people's insurance companies or if they don't have insurance the private individual who doesn't want to pay!!!
A dog will do what you ask
A cat will take a message and get back to you later
