It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

This time 93 in a 50 zone was patently not dangerous. Or else the cop would have done him for dangerous.
Which makes you wonder why his licence was taken.
I was about to say 93 k's is 1.5 seconds and a throttle twitch away, then I saw your ride. Oops.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.

I could go on but im sure you get my drift. Its not always about YOU, there are other road users...
And pedestrians, including little kids who can't judge speed...50 demerits well deserved!

93 in a 50K area - well if you accelerate from lights you sometimes can creep up that high let's face it, but still, it is illegal and potentially unsafe so you need to face up to the consequences.

Hope the 28 days goes past quickly, 9 months seemed to for SM. BTW what has riled up everyone today, seems to be a fair bit of uneccesary shite slinging (well more than ususal anyway)

Str8jackass, it's bad enough getting pinged without your pointless drivel. Crawl back into your rightous kennel.
Looks like he was after sympathy... got 50 demerits instead, a $510 fine and lost his licence for 28 days. Str8jkt made a good call...

Seeing as you realise you were at fault (ie you didn't rant and rave about the police), bummer dude. Hope the month passes quickly.

Trouble is after asking for sympathy he had the cheek to say that the cops are out to get us. Anyone in Wellington knows that there watching us, he drew attention to himself cause he was doing almost double the speed limit, not because the cops are "out to get us"...

I understand that and agree - was referring to s slinging between KB'rs who are expressing an opinion.

I think the point J is that most sub 250s (including 250s) require a conscious effort to do that kinda speed.
