Yeah, it's a bit of a shame they don't show any F3. I reckon some of the classic racing would be neat to watch too.Originally Posted by crashe

Thats it's a real shame that we didnt get a more variety of different race levels/classes shown on telly.
I was looking forward to seeing the F3 racing...
But at least they did show the sidecars racing.
I dont understand. I can d/load the 25.3k file, but if I try and run that, says it doesnt know what to do.Originally Posted by erik
download a program called azureus and open the file in that program and it will start downloading
It's better to Burn out than to Fade away - Cause thats value for money!!
You need a BitTorrent client (program). I recommend Azureus which you can get from here:Originally Posted by Warr

It is java based so you will probably also need to download the Java JRE thing on the download page too.
Once it is installed, you can open the .torrent file that I posted and it will connect to all the other people downloading and sharing the file.
There are other BitTorrent clients, the only other one I've tried was the original BitTorrent client (www.bittorrent.com). But I haven't tried the latest version.
For a list of the clients, try here: http://www.slyck.com/bt.php?page=2

Ok I am using ABC bit torrent thingy, its gone green and seems to be downloadin ( like Bin loadin , but with not as much money )
Thanks Eric ( sorry I have just been 2 busy to give you a decent reply about your sprocket, Next week some time hopefully)
Now what do I do , leave my computer on ? with abc minimised or can I close the program and leave the computer connected.
I have unlitimed up and down so dont care either way.
How long do I leave it connected?
Stephen
What ever happened to direct down load? File size ?? different type of electricity ??
and before anyone starts i am an engineer , so will only read the instructions, manual under much duress
"Look, Madame, where we live, look how we live ... look at the life we have...The Republic has forgotten us."
So whats the story with the SuperMotard class? Thought it would only be for Motard bikes, how did Steven Briggs manage to race a KTM 990, which is a road bike? Oh thats right, race class sponsered by KTM! So can you race other road bikes? How about a Speed Triple, or a MV Brutale?
Cool. I've ended up just putting it back together with a bit of high impact grease, hopefully that'll do the trick.Originally Posted by Brian d'marge
You'll have to leave the program running to continue sharing the file. It can be minimised to the task bar or system tray.Originally Posted by Brian d'marge
If you leave it connected until your share ratio (looks like it's marked "%U/D ..." on ABC torrent) is at 100%, it'll mean you've given back as much as you've downloaded. It's always good to leave it longer than that if you can, in case other people don't get their share ratio to 100% and to speed other people's downloads. I guess I should add that if there isn't anyone else downloading, there's not much point in continuing to seed the file. If there's not enough seeds, people can always come on here and ask for others that have already got the file to start seeding again.
Direct download means that everyone would have to download the file from the same place. In my case with only 15kB/sec max upload speed, it would take a lot longer for everyone to get the file. Bittorrent allows many people to connect to eachother and get bits of the file from eachother which speeds the whole process up and means one person doesn't have to contribute a huge amount of bandwidth.
I started to d/load but Azureus gives a Nat error. Tried to follow that through but... Looks like I would need to change a setting in my router to enable Nat. But I cant figure out what IP address to add. As Azureus only tells you the port it is trying to use. All my ports a secure so ??
Will see if anyone else in Hams has got the file
Yeah you will need to open up a specific port on the router. Use the ip address as the one on your computer. To find that out go to control panel -> network connections -> local area connection. Then click the details tab and it will tell you your ip address.Originally Posted by Warr
anyone got a seed running?
(hehehe.. now I know some new lingo.. I'm gonna sow my wild seeds on everyones computer)
if you download the file that eric posted it will automatically connect you to all people that are either seeding it or downloading it.Originally Posted by bugjuice
If you want to download other torrent stuff go to http://isohunt.com and search for torrents.
