Hmmm yes,Did similar thing on my old SD900 Ducati.
But it was a chain through the back wheel.
Result was one slightly bent spoke on mag' wheel ,an reminder NEVER to tell so called mates about these things.

Well I was getting ready to go for a ride with my mates, they were all parked around in my driveway as I went into the carport to get out my VF400F.

My mind must have been a bit elseware as I exited the carport. The end of my handlebar hit the carport pole, the bike fell over and I was left standing upright with the bike lying down between my legs revving its nuts off in front of 4 of my mates.

Try living that down!!!!! It was 12 years ago and I still get shit!
