as for the bins-yeah., agreed. rather silly... ride within the limits and you'll probably get home ok.
The fact you were not trying that type of thing and you got home without drama says to me you have more skill than those guys.

Yeah be real picky who you ride with.Losing a chain, what a fuckin' joke.
You seem to have an awful lot to say for someone who wasn't even present. Do you know how long Ryan has been riding?? Do you know Ryan's level of mechanical knowledge?? Yes his bike might need some maintenance, but he's a learner, give him a break. He has learnt that lesson the hard way, he's still an awesome guy to ride with, he considers the other riders and doesn't have an attitude problem.

As for your criticism of the rest of the group. What happened in your life to make you such an antisocial grouch???? Everyone i spoke to had an AWESOME day!!!!! The group stuck together, waited for each other, helped each other out, and displayed true motorcycling comradeship.

When you finally get the chip off your shoulder, learn some social skills, and bother attending a group ride then you can have your say.

Stop being a fuckwit and being so bloody negative about everyone elses fun.If you don't want to go out and enjoy yourself it's your problem, not ours.
I'm sure I'm not the only one sick of your negative comments all the time.
If you ever crawl out from under your rock and come out I'll gladly tell you to fuck off if all you're there for is to ruin everyone elses good time.

Thank fuck for that - this board is finally getting some teeth again.

Personally I don't care if people bin their bikes on every corner (Darwin Theory) - I just like taking sides and provocating debate.

I feel for the guy on the CBR tho - that must have been a sickening experience. Having seen my R1 scoot down the road.....I can empathise - both with the accident and the external cause.

A couple of lessons these - one: Ride within your limits, two: don't ride hard on a road that you don't know what is around the corner.

I will expand on my previous comment about small riding groups. I meant that you are less likely to have an accident when you are riding with a small group of people you know well. In large groups - people can get a little overwhelmed and feel they have to either prove something or keep up....either of which can be their undoing.

one day we gota ALL go down to the pub and get drunk aye?........ then again maybe not... I cant handle the next day any more.

As for large groups theres lots of reasons why thats a bit dodgy, the last time I rode any big distance like that curtacy (sp?) of a bus 4 ended up in hospital 1 by chopper (the flying kind) and 1 in a cop car (meat waggon was full) I now try to put a little distance between bikes
    cheers DD
