    what fact? I didn't try stand up wheelies on that ride because I haven't even mastered seated wheelies yet! But rest assured that I'm working on it tho and picking my time and place sensibly.

    I don't think it was a lack of skills that caused the CBR to get binned- just a bad judgement call. I'm quite sure that CBR rider has more skills than me (as evidenced by sheer speed and stunting ability) but I don't think he's quite as worried about binning his bike as I was so I'm a little more cautious!

    good skills does not necessarily equal safe riding.. and good judgement is no gaurantee of it either

    It's all down to attitude. One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. You could see it as people who use the bike to push through busy m'way traffic and enjoying it. That's why they like bikes. "pretenders", "wankers"? -cmon, may be they are trying to escape from this PC shit.
