i bought a pair of these http://www.bugeyes.com/ to use on my old 750 but they are no good for those who wear glasses as to see them you have to look out of the corner of you eye.
They worked sweet when riding with contacts (which i never do) so i assume they would be all good for you?
I have a spare pair if you would like to try them?
They have been tested up2 250k (closed private roads of course) by myself, the glue is STRONG.
Let me know if you are keen

    Regards, Allan.

Hi. Thanx for all the comments and suggestions. Frosty I really liked your idea. I think that I might just manage that as a project. Cheers

    Hi Alan
Yes this will be my plan B. Good you have given them the very important 'speed test' (naturally on closed private roads. What a bugger there are not more of them!)
    May be in touch
    cheers.
