Still no sign of a 675 in Wgtn? looking forward to seeing one in the flesh. Triumph must be nervous waiting for the inevitable multi-bike comparison tests to come out. It's not fair to compare it to the fours because it's not trying to be 'the same but better' - it's meant to be different and well done Triumph.

yes - but my understanding is that 675 demand is so strong it will be 6-12 months before there is a press bike available in NZ.

seems that way world over, Triumph seem to be doing things right at the mo, which brings about a question, who have they bought in to their design/marketing/reasearch team lately as they seem to have their finger on the pulse? This soon after the speed triple, what is next?

Whilst we probably live in the best place a motorcyclist can live - the far flung outer antipodes have some disadvantages too.

Sure its fair to compare it-its aimed quite obviously at the supersports sector, and from the specs sheet it has the minerals (on paper at least) to keep with the jap fours and then some. 123hp at the crank is on par with the current 600's, and the added torque would give it an advantage out of corners and off the mark I would have thought?

If you can be bothered getting UKP0.99 to them, Motorcycle News in the UK has a downloadable group test:

    http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?pa...urceId=4191100

I believe it arrives as a PDF. Which probably means you could do something bad with emailing it to nice people who ask
