    Fallen off the wagon

Having binned my irreplaceable, uninsured gixxer I swore off bikes forever. I've quit cigarettes, alcohol and heroin but damn, bikes were the worst. As Frosty predicted, after a week I was jonesing pretty bad so I relapsed.

I got on to trademe and bought another bike. I told myself I would just get a commuter bike, that it was the sensible thing to do to save money on petrol. Since I didn't need to go fast any more I figured I may as well get a Honda. So I got a 600 Hornet. You can stick cbr cams in hornet right? And a loud pipe, obviously. Then it'll need a Power Commander. Somebody stop me, I need help. Sticky tyres, ohlins suspension. Excuse me, I have to call my dealer.

P.S. Somewhere in my post crash haze I lost my gloves. They were green teknics coloured in with vivid so they looked kind of dark purple (they were cheap OK). If anyone has them lying around, I would be internally grateful to have them back.

    Arrow Good man

Sounds like you have got the situation nicely in hand.

I just had my first ride on the hornet. I had a bit of a giggle, it feels a bit like a farm bike. I haven't been on anything that wasn't a pure sprotsbike in over 10 years, but it has reminded me of something I knew long ago and had forgotten - that anything with 2 wheels and a motor is fun.

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
