    convinced him to stay and get a bike instead, and he just picked this up .

    I know what's going on. You invited Crazy Steve to a BBQ at your house to say goodbye, took a photo of him next to your bike, stuck a screwdriver into his neck and buried him in your back hard. Now you're using his tickets to go to the UK and screw his girlfriend.
