Missus got her full bike licence

Yup, she rode around in the pouring rain yesterday on her VT250 followed by Mr Plod.

She scored 100% and he said he was very impressed with her riding, in particular her awareness of the road conditions and surroundings.

She came home all happy. So we're off to dinner tonight to celebrate !!!

Looks like I could be in danger of getting the small bike when we ride now.....

Nice one - even in the pouring rain and all - congrats to her!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Hey, tell her congrats from us. Did she do test in Porirua? If so, did she get the Maori fella testing her? He is a hoot, bloody nice dude, really encouraging and calming. I always suggest to people doing their test to go out there and see him. He's a sweety. So we'll see you both out hooning about (we're in Nudelands too), pm us if you wanna hook up for a ride sometime. Is she looking at getting something bigger?

    Heya Mrs KD,

    Thanks for your comments

No, she did it here in town. Went up around Brooklyn and Mt Vic. She said his instructions were a little confusing at first but what was quite surprising is that they didn’t go back to the testing station to issue the new licence but at the side of the road once the test was completed !!

She likes her VT-250 but I think we will eventually get a new bike for her. We’re planning on doing more touring (riding to Wanaka at Easter) and something 600cc would be a little better.

But, yes, going for a ride would be great, definitely pm you for sure.
Look out for a blue and white ZX-10 and dark blue VT-250FG in Nudelands also.

    Cheers

    Well done Mrs NM.

So Mr NM, you going to be Pilliuon when you are down here
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

i have noticed a lot of people posting that they have passed their licence's recently...

... has anyone actually failed, or are us bike people a lot smarter?

Tell her 'well done'. My missus tried to learn before we came here (we're Poms) but she couldn't turn left - only right. Go figure...........

Yeah that's Pete in Porirua - a really nice guy.
Very cool, Chris. Pass on the congrats to her...

Then surprise her with a new bike. (I know where her 'old' one can reside for awhile.... )
