Seen similar things at KFC, they're called chicken strips. Best fix is to grow some balls and harden the fuck up ya little pussy!

TS is right, you're cooking your tyre and shredding it. Drop the pressure or get some decent track tyres.
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

    Here's the correct answer.

Problem is that you had 36psi on your rear. Pukekohe park race way is predominatly based on right hand corners. It only has 2 left handers really. That means that the left hand side of your tires will not get up to the same tempreture level as the right hand side. When you run higher air pressure on your tires, The tires have even a lesser chance of heating up.

Thus when you were going through your left hand bends and putting on your power, you were basically 'burning' cold rubber.

On the road, you do save your tire by running higher preasures but on the track since you are going harder, the higher preasures lead to tire tempreture that is cooler than what is ideal, which in return doesn't allow the rubber to grip very well. The ruber then insted induses into a slip/spin and you end up tearing and chewing up your tires. For a perfect example of this, please reffer to your own pictures of your left hand side of your tire.

So next time you are on the track, try 29 PSI (very cold atmospearic temp), 30 PSI (medium temp), 31 PSI (hot temp) and you will notice that the tires will get the chance to get up to proper riding tempreture and you should have a more even wear through out.

    BOOMER you are my idol!

I'd say toast is right. That looks like cold tearing - the tyre's not up to temp on the right side.
