    Unhappy He F'n sold it

Six years ago I went to Wellington and got myself an 85 Zuki GSX-R 750. Badly damaged in an accident and sold as is where is. Spent 12 months putting it back together and spent nearly two and a half grand on parts. Not including plastic and stuff. Loved da bike and sold the ES I had

Then got the 96 Gixxer. Wanted to hold the 85 in the shed but got talked in to selling it. So sold it, about two and a half years ago. I always regretted it. But I knew where it was and promised to go and get it back one day.

Well that day came around today. I dropped in to the place it was living at. You wouldn't believe it but it was sold a month ago. How could he have sold it..... He promised to call me..... ... I am gutted......I think I will go and rock myself to sleep.................... how could this happen...................Where is the rum bottle.................. I am so sad... . . ..

Exact same model of bike I paraylsed my arm on, same year and colour scheme, all except the screen. She was number two bike in the 85 production series and supposedly only got ridden twice in a race. Featured blueprinted and balanced motor and bored-out flatsides, used to destroy my mates std one with the same gearing. My brother sold it for me after the crash, at the time it was what I thought to be the right thing to do. I'd love to have that bike parked up in my garage again, last I heard it had been spray painted black and raced?

    I feel your pain....

There is just somthin about them. You know what I mean.......... they were raw but a shit load of fun....................... I am going to bed to dream of things that might have been.........The truth is my son was going to buy it........All said and done it was his to sell and good on him but it has gone away and that sucks...... ......

The screen was blue cos I ran outa money and it was damaged in the accident so I sanded the lumps off it and sprayed it blue. Was kinda nice in a funny blue sorta way.

    Awww That really does suck.

I sold my Subaru Cage about 3 weeks ago now for 3k, and i watched it drive off

So this brings me to an appropriate saying that applies to your bike Gixxer 4 ever..

"The two best days of my life. The day i bought my car, and the day i sold my car " Im sure if you applied the same love to anybike you will regain that longlost love in another form

Aww, how inspirational of me..... a rare moment indeed

Bugger mate. I know the feeling too though, but I think with a bit of help and counselling by Mr Beam, you will be fine.
