    Laser jamming technically is both legal and illegal.
    Legal since the light spectrum is not licensed which stops radar jamming.
    Illegal as it could be interfering with the cop conducting his duty.

    That's the problem with solid state electronics. Once the smoke has gone, it's stuffed. At least with the old valve stuff, you got a good pyrotechnics display before it died.

    So who's equipment is it going to fry?

    I have tested the unit with some other make of laser speed gun before, didn't fry that one. Just not in NZ thats all.

    Technically having my headlights on prevents the cop from reading my number plate... so that could be interfering too.. :P just being smart

    Basiclly. But cheaper or better. So need to do a test. I'll post up a photo if you are interested.
