    Missed a great ride

I enjoyed yet another cruise from the Hibiscus Coast up to Whangarei yesterday afternoon. No one was keen on joining me so as usual it was a solo ride which I usually prefer anyway.

Left about 5pm and arrived at Johns around 7pm after dodging speed cameras, highway patrols and road works.

They were resealing the road in Kaiwaka ... I thought this was bad until I realised from Kaiwaka until just before Ruakaka there was virtually no traffic in front of me. I enjoyed every kilometer.

Went over to TL's and John started hitting on him, even in front of his missus, I was amazed. Once the word anal was mentioned John's face lit up and you could see his pants were ready to come off

    Horny bloody northlanders

TL tried hitting on me as well, but once he remembered I ride a Hyosung he was put off, why do all the Suzuki homos get all the boys... its not fair.

Good to meet John and Duc Girl - it confirmed my worst fears about John. I'm glad he had a faster bike than me, I would of felt so uncomfortable knowing he was starring at my arse, I could just imagine the fantasies he would of had.

Anyway, on the way back home, it was fucken cold, I was wearing jeans and a jacket. There was bad fog until Wellsford and every truck that past me hauled out huge ammounts of loverly warm exhuast into my line of travel which almost brought me to orgasm each time. Once I reached Wellsford I chucked on an extra pair of pants, I was a smart cookie and had come prepared... With the added warmth and a desire to ride for longer I turned back up and heading down SH16 for a little play.

Arrived home about 5:30am and I'm having a feed.

The whole day I've had a bowl of cereal, three steinlagers, two coffees and a glass of water - thats what riding is about, enjoying it so much that you forget about food, taking a piss, thinking about lifes shitty problems and all the other crap that goes through ones mind.

The gay thing is, I still feel like riding ...

Picture of sunset from Ruakaka heading north attached... Was a beautiful day and clear as crystal night for riding.

SH16 is in a MESS. Resealing everywhere.

I'm glad you wasted a few minutes of your day reading this bullshit. Anyone keen on going up to Whangarei sometime, shoot me a PM, I'm always keen for a ride.

That was entertaining, you paint a good picture. I understand the feeling about wanting to keep riding as it really takes the problems away.

Well if I'm ever up your way I'd like to come along on one of your rides.

Good write-up.. dont know bout you northern folk though... I guess we'll have to wait for the re-buttal's from the other two peeps mentioned!

I'm quite fond of night riding... cept for the helmet fogging up is the only issue.

    Cheers for the read

NIce write up. Confirms a few fears, but I got a gun

Me too. I had a major problem with the visor fogging up so for a good majority of the ride I had my visor up. I got home and immediately went for the shower. Looked at myself in the mirror and there were two streams of frozen mucas hanging out each nostral.

bahahaa... some-how that just cracks me up... on more than a few occassions that would be the normal (especially in the Kind country.. nice cool mountain air to set one's nose a dribbling.. and freezin to the tip of the nose).

Actually I'm getting pissed off with the NoLan N81E I've got (though I'll give it one last chance when I get off my arse and buy a anti-fog screen for it).
