    ooo... i couldn't begrudge anyone on a new ZX10!

Spman, I reckon there's something in that... even if its nothing more than an unbased fear that the reckless spending might be curtailed once the commitment is made! for me the test will be when the warranty on the gsxr runs out and i want a bigger bike (thankfully my wifey to be is dead keen on new motor vehicles too so it may not be that difficult)

    2004 SBOTY

I picked up an Air freighted copy of UK FastBikes June 04 edition the other night.

It has their 'Sports Bike of the Year' test in it...
There’s not a bad bike among those tested ... but
    They end up ranking them:

    10Th - CBR600RR
    9Th -04 Mille R Factory
    8Th - 999S :spudwhat:
    7Th - ZX-6R
    6Th - CBR1000RR
    5Th - ZX10R
    4Th - GSXR750
    3Rd - GSXR600
    2Nd - GSXR1000
    1St - YZF-R1
    It's not easy being Orange!

I reckon - for the average road rider - they would struggle to find a great deal of difference between the 600RR, ZX6RR, 636, R6, Gixxer6 etc or the r1, Gixxer1, 1000r, ZX10, etc

It just comes down to personal choice and brand loyalty......

Personally I would go either the ZX6RR or the R1

Absolutely nothing, they like it … only criticism seems to be “down on mid range punch 7-10,000 rpm when compared to the other 2 600’s” .

Ohh, ok, that can easily be fixed with a Yoshi RS-5 full exhaust kit

    Ohh to dream.
