Now I've seen the press pics and yeah id say that what has been said looks like the most probable scenario...damage seems to be front and rear only...
It has got me very sad to think of some family suffering from the loss of a family member.
    RIP fellow biker

A close friend of mine lost her 18yr old son almost a year ago from being run over by a truck...I guess it struck to my heart to hear about this lady

This is the best argument there is for getting to the front of a queue at lights.

Most of the time I try to get to the front and not have a vehicle directly behind me. In instances where I can't or decide not to go to the front I leave enough room for me to get out of there in a hurry and always watch my mirrors.

    Be careful out there everyone.

    RIP to the rider.

Ofcourse being at the front could have its disadvantages, but when there are already vehicles stopped at the front, splitting can have an additional safety benefit, as demonstrated here.

I always try and stop with an escape path next to me for the idiots behind me, they would probally target fixate and plow into me anyways but at least they do have an option

    R.I.P Dear Lady.

Hope the driver at fault (if any) gets what he deserves... An eye for an eye would be the way to go

Being a big chicken, I'm always a little afraid to lane spit, especially at the lights, mainly because of the fear that I will get to the front and then stall my bike when the light turns green!!:slap:
