well done, onb the woman and the bike. As far as i can tell, those 600Fs are pretty indestructable. I borrowed one and a two up tour at maximum rpm didnt worry it at all. (shagged the tires though)

Good to see you got an understanding missis. Im in the market for a new litre bike and couldnt care less about pillion comfort, she has her own bike and wants a faster one... bugger that 2 up idea, just slows you down.

Just traded-up from my GSX250 to a 98 GSX600F today, and lovin it. Got it in Palmy so first ride was back to Welly and it was awesome. After opening the throttle up for the first time (and after yelling "Holy fuck"), I was wearing a huge smile all the way back.

p.s. anyone have any advice on how to tell your wife who is away overseas on business that although you are suppose to be saving money, you've just bought a new bike?
