J, you have my sympathies... I did the 'why oh why did I not remember that cold tyres have sod all grip?' scene in november- did similar damaga and today I'm looking outside thinking 'nice weather for a fang you lucky bastards!' while running around trying to get 100 things done.

    glad you're only bruised

I remember. Don't you wish you'd had a naked bike, with crash bungs? I hear they're good for people with no riding skills

Hope every thing is sweet JR, bugger about the off, well im in a similar situation for having a crap day.

Yesterday: My bike is all ready (except the insurance company wont let it out with out a new front tyre) so i order a new front tyre. I ask if i can pick my bike up at 10am, they said yep. So i confirmed my leave from work for today.....

AS you can see im still here and not at fucking pukekohe ive rung them 3 times and the tyre still isnt there..... Im so fucked off because i could have gone to work and be finished by now instead of taking a day off!!!!!

Ofcourse if i do get the tyre i then have to bring the bike home, put the fairings on and scrub in the new front tyre!!!!!!!!!

Did you not pass me about rosedale on the NW (approx 7.55) filtering behind another bike?

For some reason I thought you looked angry despite the helmet hiding your face.

Yes, I do recall filtering behind another bike about then. It had two exhaust pipes. He was filtering like a granny but I was rattled and pissed off and didn't trust myself to overtake in 1A. Er. Were you on the bike or in a cage?

I don't suppose you noticed my lack of a right-hand wing mirror at the time. Sniff.

2 wheels, lane 1. Being to your left I was not looking for something I did not know was missing.

I don't like filtering, it makes me snappy all day to save about 5mins that I won't get paid extra for anyway.

Funny thing was you exuded anger / frustration without my being able to see any of your features.

Ah, right, that'll be why I didn't see you then. The only things I watch for in lane 1 are disco lights in a position to get on my tail.

I think I've commented on my filtering motivations before... it's like sneezing, not so much a like or dislike as something I find impossible to hold back. Maybe wkid and I should form the Compulsive Risk-Takers Club.

And that's quite funny about the anger and frustration being obvious, unless you're having me on... I must have been hunching my shoulders and strangling the handlebars or summat.

Sounds like you had a worse day than me
No track time because of work, and when I went out to start the bike to go to work, discovered that I'd left the ignition on all night, and so no go for me today.

At least the client is happy
