    Mini (ish) Pit runt

I got to thinking after reading this
(here) thread and thought it'd be cool to build summat like that just as a project. So where to start? Well, I thought I'd start with some sort of plan or model. Seeing as things are a little quiet I thought I'd turn it into a 'learning' exercise and draw it in 3D. Here's what I've come up with so far; (see attached)

Built from 20mm dia. steel for the frame and something a little stronger (but not much bigger) than wheelbarrow wheels. That's why it looks a little wide (like a Fatboy). I've got a petrol lawnmower at home I thought I could butcher the engine from?

May be good for a laff!

Oh god. You must have it bad.
Beleive me, if you had any idea how much time and money this project will cost, you would use that cash to buy a real bike (or a suzuki)

Do I sense a series of "KiwiBiker Chopper" in the making?

We have a Mikey, a Paul Sr and a Paul Jr...

Can I be Gus? All we need is a sponsor. We can sell the "bike" at the end to pay for "production" costs.
