Sounds so sweet and looks like so much fun

Pity about the sixty hours top end rebuild though... although, at 100 km/h that is about normal service interville length.

    if I win lottto...

What sort of revs do the road-legal 450/550's pull?
I know the race ones do around 14K

    Yeah agreed

Why don't they make one with a more bullet proof engine, I'd buy one in a flash....dream garage as it stands

It's interesting that they're not doing very well. Could it be a lack of traction from the more regular firings?

I think they've looked at it and said ... usability.. power .. usability...lets go for power.

I wouldn't be surprised if it reved over 14K, they'll have done their work to make this a fun toy. But that high reving power comes at a price.

Funnily enough, just after I started this thread today there was Supermoto Championship on One Sport on TV.

It showed the Aprilias had the legs down the staights but weren't any better than the Husqvarnas, Hondas etc through the twisties.
