    Saved by a Taxi Driver

So this dude in a late model Benz puts his indicator on and nails it out of his carpark on Featherston St - right next to me.

Taxi driver in the right hand lane (Featherston St is two lanes of one way traffic) nails the brakes and hits the horn. I flick into the space where the taxi driver was.

Benz driver stops, I flick back in front. Give the taxi driver a friendly wave, he gives me the thumbs up. I notice the Benz hasn't moved. Go back - the dude is crying. I, "there, there", him and continue on to work.

    Life is weird.

Which taxi co? Ring and tell them. It's bloody strange for people to ring in and receive a compliment - it'll go for miles... might even catch on

Its always a good feeling when someones help you out like that!! You have to be very careful in and around that area and i swear to god wn has the world's worst drivers.

Good effort all round (apart from the Merc driver of course). The taxi driver must have been awake.

Big ups to the Cabbie, glad to hear you are ok Jim. Should buy that man a beer and a lotto ticket! I have noticed that mercedes drivers often have good reason to cry lol

He must have really freaked out if he started to cry.

It was nice of you to comfort him...very magnanimous. Most people would have pulled the finger and buggered off.
