Ive run out of fucks to give
Ive got one ,pulling a Sabiston Mk1 sidecar & Im proud to say so!!! , the humble CX seems to be turning into a bit of a cult machine if some of the web pages are anything to go by
Im currently revamping/painting it & hope to have it finished in a couple of months time, IF I get a chance in between doing all the other figlassing jobs

Those that deride the 'plastic maggot' [I never understood where that nickname came from???] have probably never had the pleasure of owning one!

Whatch Dangerous come on here and talk about the CX now. BTW, I believe he has a top fairing (couple of notches) and a camshaft lying around

Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers

Had a CX400 as a loaner while my bike was in hospital last month. Bloody neat bike.
Grow older but never grow up
Owned one for a year before I purchased Gerty. Stuck a fork brace on it, thicker fork oil and a thing handled rather well considering it's a so called overweight/underpowered beasty. Never had the torque reaction my BMW R65 had throwing it into corners. Just felt like a well adjusted chain driven bike. Traveled all around the South Island on the thing. Bloody comfortable seat and maintenace is a doodle.Originally Posted by Eurodave

Ya know one bike I'd love to have ion my gargre is a cx650 euro--not the turbo -the euro with heavier forks than the old 500 and coool styling.
Mind you keep in mind I have a soft spot for XJ900's too

Damn, that's cool, Motu !!

Here's a couple more pics...
The story goes that, they took the CX500 motor, turned it 90 degrees and made it into chain-drive. Then it was bored and stroked to 750. Wasn't too bad at the track and paved the way for the RS-750.
