    fookinell..
so the fact that they're going the same direction in that lane is just a coincidence?

i bet they're more aware of themselves than a lot of kiwi drivers are..

Fuck me, I'm not planning on going there for a visit.

Yes it is, it may seem crazy to you jokers but it's pretty normal there, people drive/ride/walk like that 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Road rage is unheard of and there are way fewer accidents than you think. Believe it or not

I was in India 2 years ago, in time for the Goa road safety week.....there slogan was 'lane driving is sane driving' all mad, the taxi's had a picture of the Madonna and child with Divali flowers around it...talk about hedging your bets..

mum, dad, and 3 kids on a Vespa is all normal.

Was in Goa, India just a couple of weeks ago and it is just crazy.

Taxi driver told us there is no speed limit and everyone forgets the road rules once they have their licence (if they hold one that is). There is just "mutual understanding". Just from the airport to the hotel, we had several near head-ons with other cars, mopeds (carrying 3 or 4 people) and trucks.

They hit the horn to let you know they are there, again to pass, and again to say thanks....

Just absolutely crazy buggers but it seems to work for them.

Don't remember any such thing in the 13 years I lived there.

It's an absolutely awesome place wish I could afford to visit more.

Good to see so many bikes on the road though!! Personal fav. is the lane splitters heading in between traffic heading the other way.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

You prob wouldn't believe me, but's it's less than 1% of the figure you are imagining.

Imagine how you would feel if you rode/drove like that everyday of your life as did your dad and mum and their parents and their parents...... It'll become second nature.
