New MX track in Onehunga

Was told about track thru info on TradeMe so went and had a look today.

Bit rough at the mo but lots of potential. See first pic for track info. At the end of Captian Springs Rd, Onehunga, Auckland. past refuse station.

Then you have Kimmys track just down the road ( There is no emotional con that can do justice to my feelings here!!!!!)

The condition of that track is rougly what I race on here , gets rough and rutted ... That table looks good ...,,,,,,

Havent been there myself (despite living less than 10 mins away), but a mate has and reckoned while it was a lot of fun, its only good for short bursts before you start to loose interest.

Yeah well you know what those honda CR riders are like. They just wanna pose at the track. Goes like this - Ooooh look at my shiny frame... what take my bike on the track?? are you crazy?? might get it dirty!

Some of us prefer longer rides than just going round in circles. Good practice for the jumps I'll happily admit tho!

I'd love a go on a motard (anyone wanna volunteer their bike??), but this time I'll be taking the Aprilia, the nobblies on the CR make for somewhat interesting cornering on tarseal!
